Social Impact: Community Development and Diversity & Inclusion

Community Development

Our Community Development initiatives leverage our scale to strengthen the communities where we live and work through volunteering, donations, in-kind contributions, grants and pro-bono services.

Community Grants Program and employee giving

The Link Logistics Community Grants Program provides infrastructure grants that help nonprofits addressing hunger, education and hyperlocal needs meet urgent operational demands. Since launching the program in 2022, we have donated $6 million to support 59 nonprofit projects across 26 states. We also match employee donations to certified nonprofits, offering up to $1,000 per employee annually, and provide up to eight hours of paid volunteer time per year to each team member.

Diversity & Inclusion (D&I)

We are committed to cultivating a diverse workforce where every voice and perspective is valued and respected. Striving to foster an inclusive environment rooted in trust, we champion efforts to increase representation across our organization. Our D&I programming supports current employees and customers, expands opportunities for future talent and emphasizes supplier and vendor diversity.

Employee resource groups

Employee resource groups (ERGs) are employee-led initiatives that bolster our company culture and support team members by promoting awareness and fostering an environment where everyone can reach their full potential. Membership in ERGs is open to all Link Logistics employees, with over 65 percent of the firm participating in at least one of our five ERGs.
